Completely, but it was only someone I was totally serious with. Casual relationships don't warrant that kind of energy. also, it takes a lot to hate someone. Realize it, work through it, and move on.

Great...I ADORE my little family.

Never. I have always dated the person I set my sights on. Then I married the guy I wanted more than anything.


What are your plans for today?
Flying to Jersey with my Hazel. All of us (mom, dad, Zach, Rich, Elly, Liam, Stella) are staying on the beach in manasquan for a week. Eric and Jagger will join is wednesday.

Kinda Awesome

I am almost done with my "Jagger starting Kindy" post. It's not awesome and well written because I'm not a writer so obviously, don't expect much. It's just taken me forever because I have a million thoughts in my mind about the situation and it's taking forever to get them down and have them make sense.

Anyway, the one plus of Jagger being in school everyday is at 2:00 pm, when I lay Hazel down for her nap, Eric and I go upstairs to the "movie theater" (as Jagger calls it) and watch an episode of Heroes. We have not watched the series and decided to buy season 1 and 2. So far, season 1 is awesome. We have 3 more episodes left until season two.  It's fun to have some alone time with my best friend.

Can't seem to write it

I have started the obligatory "dear Jagger, it's your first day of kindergarten" post, but I can't seem to get through it or get my thoughts out. Ahh, I'll try again later.

See that piece of paper on his shirt? Well, when I woke up this morning from a nap, he came running in the room. I saw it flapping on his shirt and asked what it was. He asked Eric to write it for him.

Eric copied down what Jagger told him to write. It says: "Jagger has a job. He has to do important stuff and he has to keep important stuff and he has to keep people from getting his important stuff.

He fills my life with laughter.

2 girls and 1 cup

While I have never seen the infamous 2 girls and 1 Cup video (because of the reaction videos, I don't think I could handle it), Nancy and I are sitting here watching the reactions to the video on youtube. We are laughing so hard we're crying. It's good medicine...

This is the best one ever...

When I need a laugh

I have seen this a million times and I know it's old, but whenever I need a good laugh or having a stressful day, I totally pull this up.

The two best parts-

1."I think we're dead. Time is going really, really, really, really slow."

2. The reporter trying to keep a straight face.

While I am not a huge DMB fan anymore, there is no doubt that the band is extremely talented. Every single one of the members of the band has such an amazing and natural aptitude for their individual instrument. Leroi's talent superseded the majority of the musicians in the industry today. His death will leave a gapping hole in the idea that musicians should be able to skilfully and fiercly kick ass by pure charisma and talent alone.

Jagger is so cute

Last year around this time is when Eric came home from work and I informed him that he was going to boot camp that evening. He started it and it was one of the best decisions we ever made (I say we because I insisted he go and he had no choice). I was 9 months pregnant with Hazel when he started and knew that I was going to eventually do camp also, but I needed a few months after her birth to recover.

Fast forward to Halloween of last year and Eric tells me he is going to do the Pumpkin Run at Joe Pool Lake (if you know our last name you can see Eric's time on there). When he finished the race I thought we were just going to go. He told me he wanted to stay because a friend from boot camp was also running. We waited and his friend came through and he introduced us. She was nice and pleasant and I was jealous that she just ran a 5k.

FF to when I started camp. I found out her name was Nancy and she was so encouraging to me and supportive. She would push me when I felt like I couldn't go further and always did the run with me at the beginning. That helped me run it as much as I could without stopping because I was accountable.

She has spent time at my house in the evening and I at her house, usually consuming champaign or wine, and Jagger just loves her.

I am writing this because of what happened today. She called me and asked me if I had any fresh parmesan cheese because she was having dinner guests and in a pinch. I told her yes and she drove down to pick it up (she lives right up the street). I told Jagger she was coming and he jumped off the couch and ran to his room. He was in his underwear and I assumed he was just going to get dressed.

Here is the best part...Jagger runs out of his room and asks me if he can wear what he wore to Marabeth's wedding last month. He loves Nancy so much that he wanted to wear his nicest outfit to see her.
